This has been something I don’t think any of us could have imagined would develop into what it is, its truly brought the world to its knees and its been an awful tragedy for everyone. We really hope that you and yours have been able to stay safe during all of this as first and foremost your health and well being is the most important thing. With all of this its been very unfortunate but like many other guides and outfitters we have had to postpone all Spring Roe Buck clients to date till 2021 and this will indeed be every client scheduled to June with the current Scottish Government guidelines. We cant stress enough that we are keeping up to date with everything as we know it and wish to have our scheduled clients out for the Spring/Summer as planned or indeed rescheduled for 2021 if needed.

Id like to state that we have absolutely every intention of operating our 2020-2021 Scottish Waterfowl Season and are still working away behind the scenes to ensure we can deliver one of our best years yet to come. We can only hope that things have changed for the better and things have slowed down and for the moment we need to remain positive and trust everything will be okay and going ahead as planned.

We will update again once we know more information but for the moment stay safe and healthy folks as we look forward to welcoming you hear in hopefully the near future!

We’ve neglected the website for way too long!! Along with a brand new logo the Scotland galleries have finally been updated for the last 2 seasons and we will be adding more changes to the website over the next month! We will finally be updating the website on a regular basis to keep things as fresh as possible but for the most update happenings on AWW life then Instagram is the best place to catch the daily goings on. We plan to make the 2019-2020 Scottish Waterfowl Season the best yet and have some awesome things planned…..

With our finish with the season here in Scotland our focus turns to Spring Snow Goose hunting in the states!!

We cant wait to get out there as our outfitter is on the birds and having a great start to the season where they are consistently shooting good numbers this spring, check out some of the photos from this year below!

We are soon to be leaving for out first location of the year which is likely to see us hunting in Nebraska for the moment where we will of course will change with any bird movements, we have some limited spaces available for anyone wishing to join us hunting in the states and its well suited for anyone already in the states if they had wanted to join us last minute.

For our trip to South Dakota in April we have one date available which is Monday 4th to Friday 8th and there are 3 spaces left for this all inclusive trip!!! This is equally as handy for anyone, doesn’t matter if your coming from the UK, France, Australia or already live in the states as it includes everything you might need!

Included in the package is the following:

5 Full days hunting snow geese

6 Nights accommodation in 5 star lodge

Fully catered, light breakfast, lunch, 3 course meal and snacks each day with all your soft drinks, beer and wine included

Gun hire of semi auto with magazine extension

Airport transfers

Transport to the hunting grounds

Some photos and videos taken during the trip

Bird processing included and some jerky to take home

If your already coming from the states then of course there will be some things in the packages you wont require and we can change that to suit your exact needs!

Our 2015-2016 end of season video is finally live!! Take a look at what we’ve been up to this past season here in Aberdeen, Scotland! We’ve had some amazing groups and even better shooting and we cant wait for next season already, so if you fancy joining us for 2016-2017 get in touch quickly as we are running out of dates!!

Well its been a while since we’ve had time to get back into the office and update the website! It can mean only one thing that we have been busy hunting ALL season long. We are pleased to announce its been another successful season for Aberdeen Wild Wings and are really pleased with the outcome despite some horrendous conditions from no cold weather to seriously cold weather and freak flooding. We just had to work a little harder and that we did to ensure we delivered the best for all our hunting parties.

We would like to give a massive thanks to all those that hunted with us and we hope the memories live on for many years to come as we certainly wont be forgetting this year in a hurry! The thanks also extends to all our friends, family, farmers and suppliers that have helped us make this a successful season as we couldn’t have done it without any of your help.

The sifting through over 2.5k of video and photos for the end of season video and website has now begun so stay tuned for these to follows over the next week or so. We are also dealing with high volume of bookings for the next season and indeed the 2017-2018 season which is great!

Our focus now turns to our over seas hunting starting with our spring snow goose hunts and we have trips booked for February, March and April with some spaces still available so please feel free to drop us message to enquire about dates!

Aberdeen Wild Wings

It’s been a really busy but wet July here in Aberdeen and we are really looking forward to some nicer weather and even a day of ‘summer’ weather! We’ve not been held back too much as we have still managed out for the roe buck rut and of course controlling pests for our farmers! Despite the rain we have been lucky to get some good hunting in and were successful on a number of outings during the past month.

We are eagerly awaiting the harvest so we can make a start with our summer pigeon hunting however numbers are looking really good with pigeons starting to show up in all the right places, great for us but not so good for the farmers! One of our farms was able to make a start on some crop this week and we are looking forward to getting a team out for next week so watch this space…..

We are pleased to announce that our gun dealer The Hunter’s Cabin is now one of the main RC Cartridge dealers within Scotland and for this season will be stocking a whole host of great shells for waterfowling, game and clay shooting!!

Steve has been accommodating as always and will be offering a great selection of shells to cover everyone’s requirements and for once the waterfowler is well looked after and he will be stocking RC 50 and RC 40, RC Camouflage 42 which will be perfect for all inland waterfowling. On top of that he will be one of the few to be offering the new Atomic Magnum Steel and the Camouflage Techno Steel so we have some amazing shells on offer for hunting over water on evening flights.
