New Zealand

New Zealand is home to some of the most beautiful land scapes in the entire world! We feel privileged to be able to bring you what could be the hunting adventure of a life time, this truly is a sportmans paradise which is ready to be explored.  From the high snow covered tops to the glacier carved valleys there is an abdundance of game to hunt an we look forward to sharing these delights with you…

We’ve waited for years to find the right outfitter to work with in New Zealand as with many countries big game takes the lead over waterfowl and its taken a moment to find it the other way round! Connor from CSO is about as passionate as they come about waterfowl hunting and I’m pleased to be working with him for all our hunting adventures in the South Island in NZ.  Once again this another destination that is likely high on the bucket list and rightly so as the amount of species here is incredible! With a whole host of different species to hunt such as Paradise Shell Ducks (Parries) Australasian Spoonbill,  Grey Duck (Pacific Black Duck) and Mallards as well as Black Swans and Canada geese!

Seasons vary but as a whole the best time to hit NZ is from May through to July to be able to hunt all the above species of Waterfowl and indeed other upland birds and big game! Hunts will be tailored to suit each team but otherwise will focus on the best hunts based around the birds, their patterns and the weather.  As always they love nothing more than helping tick birds off the list so we’ll be happy to do our best to put something together that combines a little bit of everything.

Hunts are a little more like the states and take place both in the morning and afternoon and shooting times have to be adhered to.  Limits are liberal but our outfitter will do his best to make the stars align but as always they are wild and anything is possible.  Big bags don’t define hunts, birds decoying right do! All hunting will be out of layouts, A frames or traditional style Kiwi permanent blinds, they will do their best to accommodate comfort but hide will depend on whats best for the hunt usually. As well as waterfowl NZ is home to a bunch of different upland species such as Pukeko, Spurwing Plover and Turkeys which can all be tied into hunts to allow more species to be ticked off.

Reach out and let us hell put together the hunt of a lifetime!

New Zealand has long been known for its big game and has been home to some of the Worlds largest Red Stags for years! They also have Bull Thar, Chamois, Elk, Fallow, Arapawawa Ram, Pigs and Wallabies.  Stand alone hunts cant  be arranged for all of the above species but its absolutely possible to make a real trip out of this and combine as many different species from waterfowl to big game.

As always we love nothing more about customising every trip to suit you groups requirements!

As well as amazing hunting New Zealand has phenomenal fly fishing and the crystal clear glacier carved rivers are home to some absolutely huge Brown and Rainbow Trout! Without a doubt some of the most beautiful landscape to fish, whether you are looking to Nymph or Dry fly they are happy to cater to your requirements and make this a truly outstanding adventure to this wonder sportsman’s paradise!

New Zealand awaits and if it isn’t on your list then it should be now! Please feel free to reach out for any questions or any other information.
