Hunting snows is without a doubt something every waterfowler needs to experience at least once in their life, that being said more often than not it becomes something you keep coming back for! They can be one of THE toughest birds to hunt but when the stars align very few things come close to watching and hearing the roar of a wall of snows making their way into your lap! We’ve hunted snows from Canada to the US and there’s just something that keeps us coming back to chase them year after year in Arkansas! Hot feeds, giant spreads, mag extensions and no limits are just some of the reasons to come join us in the south with our chosen outfitter!
We’ve chased snows for almost 12 years and its probably one of our favourite waterfowl species to hunt, one of the smartest of all birds but the satisfaction of winning them over is unreal. The show they put on is second to none and watching them come flipping their way to the finish line is literally some of the best fun you can have with your clothes on! For Spring 2025 we are looking forward to working with a new outfitter in Arkansas and we’ll be joining forces with Goose Reapers who hale from Oklahoma. We have known of this crew for years, it will be a pleasure to work with these guys and are looking forward to sending clients their way so they can show you exactly what we are talking about!
There will be the options of two styles of hunts and that will be chasing hot feeds where they will be setting up on pre scouted feeds with birds actively using the field, this is still high risk high reward as their patterns can change but as long as they come back you could experience some of the most incredible hunting of your life! Most hunts will take place from either blinds or backboards and here you will be hunting till the entire feed returned and will likely finish before mid morning or once its dried up then its time to pull the spread and head for breakfast. The other option is hunting migrator spreads and these will be set up on religiously good flight paths to catch the migration of birds heading north, these might be from pits or layouts pending location. Hunts will run both in the morning and afternoon to catch the best times birds will push north and there will be a break during lunch to let guides take some rest and for clients to get some food! With both styles of hunts its possible to see some awesome moments in the spread and this means there’s something to suit every groups budget. There are various accommodation solutions so let us know what might suit your group and we can best advise to help make this an unforgettable trip to Arkansas!
Huge spreads, ecallers, unplugged guns, no limits and tons of snows is the recipe for the makings of a riot! Come get in on the action this February/March 2025, reach out and get on board as this will be a spring you don’t want to miss!
